Cookie & Tracking Policy
Effective October 15, 2026 · Last Updated October 15, 2026
This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how Noticia Solutions Inc. (“Noticia”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on claira.to and its regional and language versions (the “Website”), and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
You can change your choices at any time. Use the Manage cookie preferences button on this page, or “Cookie preferences” in the Website footer.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the website, or a third party whose technology is used on the website, to recognize your browser and remember information about your visit.
- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting (claira.to). Third-party cookies are set by another organization’s domain, such as linkedin.com.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
Similar technologies include scripts, tags, and pixels that send information from your browser to a provider, and your browser’s local storage. In this policy, we refer to all of these as “cookies” or “trackers”.
2. How We Manage Trackers
All analytics and marketing technologies on the Website are loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KLT8BQ93) and controlled by our own consent manager, which activates them only in accordance with your choices (see Section 6).
Google Tag Manager is a tool that loads other technologies; it does not set cookies itself. When the Website loads it, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and standard technical information needed to deliver the file.
3. Categories of Cookies
3.1 Strictly Necessary. These cookies are needed for the Website to work as you expect: to remember your cookie choices and the region and language you choose. They are always active and cannot be switched off in our consent manager. They do not track you across other websites.
3.2 Analytics. These technologies help us understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and where they click or scroll, so that we can improve the Website.
3.3 Marketing. These technologies help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising, identify the organizations that visit our Website, show our advertising to relevant audiences on LinkedIn, and link Website visits to a contact record in our CRM when you submit a form.
4. The Technologies We Use
Durations for third-party cookies are set by the provider and are approximate; providers may change them.
4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| claira_consent | Noticia (first-party) | Stores your cookie choices and a random consent ID that is not linked to your name or contact details | 13 months |
| claira_market | Noticia (first-party) | Remembers the region and language you choose. It is set only after you choose a regional version of the Website | 12 months |
4.2 Analytics
| Technology | Provider | What it does | Cookies and duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JXC3DR6NLM) | Google LLC | Measures visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and engagement. Before consent, it receives only cookieless pings (see Section 5) | With consent only: _ga (distinguishes browsers) and _ga_JXC3DR6NLM (maintains the session state), up to 13 months |
| Microsoft Clarity | Microsoft Corporation | Produces heatmaps and session replays that show how visitors click, scroll, and navigate on our pages. Loads only after you consent to analytics | _clck (keeps a Clarity ID and preferences for your browser), approximately 1 year; _clsk (connects page views into a single session recording), approximately 1 day; CLID (set on Microsoft’s clarity.ms domain), approximately 1 year. Microsoft may set other cookies on its own domains |
4.3 Marketing
| Technology | Provider | What it does | Cookies and duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot tracking code | HubSpot, Inc. (data stored in the United States) | Records visits to the Website and, if you submit a form, associates your earlier visits with your contact record in our CRM | __hstc (main visitor tracking cookie), approximately 6 months; hubspotutk (visitor identifier used to associate visits with form submissions), approximately 6 months; __hssc (tracks the current session), approximately 30 minutes; __hssrc (detects when the browser has restarted), end of the browser session |
| Apollo.io website tracker | Apollo.io | Identifies the organization associated with a visitor’s IP address and adds company-level (firmographic) information, such as company name, industry, size, and location | Apollo.io may set cookies or use similar technologies, as described in its privacy policy |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | Measures conversions from our LinkedIn advertising, provides aggregated insights about the audiences that visit the Website, and allows us to show our advertising on LinkedIn to people who have visited the Website | li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, and li_gc (third-party, set on LinkedIn’s domains), from approximately 1 day up to approximately 2 years depending on the cookie |
All marketing technologies load only after you consent to marketing or, in the United States, unless you opt out (see Section 6).
4.4 Embedded Content
Some pages include content or tools provided by third parties, usually inside a frame on our page. These providers may use their own cookies or browser storage, as described below and in their privacy policies.
| Content | Provider | When it loads | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube videos | Google LLC (YouTube), in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) | Only when you press play. Nothing is loaded from YouTube before then | When you press play, your browser connects to YouTube’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your browser. In privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube states that viewing an embedded video is not used to personalize your YouTube experience or the advertising you see. The player may store or access information on your device, for example in your browser’s local storage, to operate. YouTube’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy |
| Ask Claira chatbot | Chatbase (United States) | Only on our chat page, when you start a chat (by pressing the start button, or by asking a question elsewhere on the Website, which opens the chat page). Nothing is loaded from Chatbase before then | When the chat starts, Chatbase’s script runs on our page and your browser connects to Chatbase’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your browser. Your conversation is processed by Chatbase and by the large language model provider it uses. The script sets a first-party cookie, chatbase_anon_id (a random identifier that keeps your conversation together; it expires when you close your browser), and records in your browser’s session storage whether its message bubbles have been shown. Chatbase may also store information within the chatbot frame, for example to keep your conversation during your visit. We tell Chatbase which regional and language version of the Website you are viewing (market, language, currency, and data residency region) so that it can answer accordingly; this is not information about you |
| Demo booking scheduler | HubSpot, Inc. (HubSpot Meetings, United States) | When you use the booking scheduler to book a demo | Your browser connects to HubSpot’s servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your browser, and the details of your booking are sent to our CRM. HubSpot may use cookies or similar technologies within the scheduler |
5. Google Analytics and Consent Mode, in Plain Language
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the Website, which pages they view, and how they found us. We use Google Consent Mode (version 2, in its “advanced” setting), which changes how Google Analytics behaves depending on your choice:
- Before you consent, or if you refuse analytics: Google Analytics does not set or read any cookies and does not use any identifier that could recognize you from one page or visit to the next. When a page loads, your browser sends Google a “cookieless ping”: a simple signal that a page was viewed, with basic information such as the page address, the time, your browser and device type, the referring page, and the fact that you have not consented. Your IP address is transmitted with the request, as with any request on the Internet, but it is not stored. Google uses these pings only to produce aggregate counts and to estimate (“model”) overall traffic trends in our reports. We never see information about you as an individual from these pings.
- If you consent to analytics: Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_JXC3DR6NLM cookies, which contain a random identifier for your browser. This lets us recognize returning visitors and understand how visitors move through the Website over time. The cookies last up to 13 months.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, after which Google Analytics returns to cookieless pings only.
6. Your Choices by Region
6.1 Outside the United States: Opt-in. If you are outside the United States, including in Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico and Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, we ask for your consent before activating any analytics or marketing technology, and you can accept or refuse analytics and marketing separately. Until you consent, only strictly necessary cookies are used, together with any embedded content you choose to use (Section 4.4), and no analytics or marketing cookies are set. The only measurement that takes place is the cookieless Google Analytics measurement described in Section 5. This approach reflects laws such as Québec’s Law 25, the EU ePrivacy Directive as implemented in EU member states (including section 25 of Germany’s Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and Brazil’s LGPD.
6.2 In the United States: Opt-out. If you are in the United States, analytics and marketing technologies are active by default. You can opt out of either category at any time using the Manage cookie preferences button on this page, our Your Privacy Choices page, or “Cookie preferences” in the Website footer. Opting out of marketing technologies opts you out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising, as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws.
6.3 Global Privacy Control. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a setting available in some browsers and browser extensions that tells websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. If you are in the United States and your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, and we do not load marketing technologies (the HubSpot tracking code, the Apollo.io website tracker, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag) in that browser. GPC does not turn off analytics technologies; you can turn those off using the Manage cookie preferences button on this page. You can learn more about GPC at https://globalprivacycontrol.org.
6.4 How We Determine Which Model Applies. We apply the consent model based on your approximate location, which we derive from your IP address when you visit, regardless of the regional version of the Website you view. If we cannot determine your location, we apply the opt-in model.
7. How to Change Your Choices
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time:
- use the Manage cookie preferences button on this page; or
- select “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page of the Website.
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. When you withdraw consent or opt out, we stop loading the technologies concerned. Cookies that were already stored may remain in your browser until they expire; you can delete them at any time using your browser settings.
Your choices are stored in the claira_consent cookie in the browser you use. If you use another browser or device, or delete your cookies, you will need to make your choices again. We will ask you again after your choice expires (13 months) or if we make significant changes to the technologies we use.
8. Browser Controls and Other Tools
Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies, and some block third-party cookies by default. Refer to your browser’s help pages for instructions. Blocking all cookies may prevent the Website from remembering your choices.
You can also use the following tools:
- the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
- your LinkedIn account settings, if you are a LinkedIn member, to control how LinkedIn uses data for advertising;
- industry opt-out tools such as Your Online Choices in Europe (https://www.youronlinechoices.eu) and the Digital Advertising Alliance in the United States (https://optout.aboutads.info).
For more information about how our providers process information, see their privacy policies: Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Microsoft (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement), HubSpot (https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy), Chatbase (https://www.chatbase.co), LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy), and Apollo.io (https://www.apollo.io/privacy-policy).
9. Records of Your Choices
To demonstrate that we respect your choices, we keep a record each time you make or change them. The record contains the random consent ID stored in your claira_consent cookie, your choices, the date and time, the version of this policy that applied, and your country or region. It does not contain your IP address or information about your browser (user agent). We keep these records for 3 years.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie & Tracking Policy when we change the technologies we use or when the law changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. If we make significant changes, we will ask for your choices again where required.
